Harry Shearer Quits Show
Mr Burns might be leaving The Simpsons show, well the voice actor Harry Shearer is and will not return for Season 27. and 28. Harry Shearer does not only voices Mr Burns but also Ned Flanders, Principal Skinner and Waylon Smithers. If it was just Mr Burns, The Simpsons might just retire Mr Burns. But since multiple cast are involved, it would be better to bring in a new voice actor. The decision to either continue or retire the following cast has not been made yet, no official decision has been released.
From James L. Brooks’ lawyer: ‘show will go on, Harry will not be part of it, wish him the best.’, Shearer tweeted. “This because I wanted what we’ve always had: the freedom to do other work. Of course, I wish him the very best.
