Hackers Exposes Hidden ISIS Smartphone App

App For Everything

ISIS Trail of terror

ISIS are using a smartphone app to spread their propaganda and recruitment videos. The app shows messages showing “life inside the caliphate”. The app is not on playstore for obvious reasons and links for the download are shared privately on telegram.

“They [ISIS] want to create a broadcast capability that is more secure than just leveraging Twitter and Facebook,” said Michael Smith II, chief operating officer at Kronos Advisory, a defense consulting firm.

“IS has always been looking for a way to provide easy access to all of the material.”

So far GhostSec have reported 31,918 including 1,690 domains and 15,235 of Twitter accounts.
