So no raid? No fear? TPB still safe?
Last year The Pirate Bay went dark for almost two months, longest period ever. When police raided Nacka Station, at the same time one of the moderators were arrested. Which most of us thought was the result of the raid. Now TPB has released that police only managed to get one server which didn’t had any data related to TPB. Even though police don’t have anything sustainable, TPB moved their server locations, believing that they might have found out about server locations.
Team at TorrentFreak say, TPB went offline just for precautionary measure. Moderators of the site had no idea about this as well.
Why wait for this long?
TorrentFreak asked TPB why they have waited for this long to released this shocking information? TPB said they were taking this time to make sure that everything was safe and sound.
TorrentFreak:
The Pirate Bay team believes that it may not have been the prime target of last year’s raid, and if they were, then the police followed the wrong lead. Pirate Bay’s servers were and are hosted in the cloud, outside of Sweden.
Stay tuned for more updates.
